Booking Criteria and Cancellation Policy

*Please note, hair should be ¼ of an inch long (approximately the length of a grain of rice). We recommend a light exfoliation the day before your service, and please refrain from using any body lotion or oils on the area being serviced the day of your appointment. If you have and questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to call the studio.

Arriving late for appointments

Please notify us if you are running late for your appointment. Late arrivals will result in your service(s) being shortened to fit the remaining appointment time. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may have to reschedule.

Cancellation and No-shows

We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel any appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to 50% of the service fee. Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Please understand that no-shows and late cancellations are an inconvenience to both the service provider and clients that are turned away. When late cancellations and no-shows happen, we lose the possibility of filling the appointment time, and other clients lose the opportunity to receive services. We completely understand that emergencies happen and are very understanding, but we ask that you kindly call or text us to let us know if you are unable to make it to your appointment. If it becomes a pattern, you will be asked to pay 100% of the missed service cost at your next appointment.

Reminders

As a courtesy to our clients, we typically try to send both text and email confirmations about 24 hours prior to your appointment. However, if we’re unable to contact you, or you do not receive a confirmation text or email reminder, the appointment for your service(s) will remain booked. It is solely your responsibility to remember your appointment time, and to adhere to Mirage’s cancellation policy.

Personal Information and Consent

Upon arrival of your first appointment with Mirage Sugaring Studio, all clients are required to fill out a personal information and consent form. We will collect basic contact details (name, email address, mobile phone number) and skincare characteristics as well as any concerns you may have to best serve your needs.

Use and Disclosure

All information provided is used strictly for the purposes of Mirage Sugaring Studio. We do not give out your information or share any personal details to any third-party companies, marketing or advertising agencies. Personal Information will be protected by security safeguards that are appropriate to the sensitivity level of the information. We take all the necessary precautions to protect your personal information from any loss or unauthorized use, access or disclosure.
