Airbrush tanning is a sunless tanning method the involves a professionally trained technician using an airbrush gun to give you a flawless, natural looking tan. The active ingredient in our tanning solution is DHA (Dihydroxyacetone), which is a simple carbohydrate derived from sugar cane and beet root. When the DHA comes into contact with outmost layer of skin, it interacts with proteins and amino acids found in the skin, resulting in a natural browning effect, similar to an apple browning when exposed to air. The technician will customize the tan according to the client’s skin tone and desired glow they are hoping to achieve.

Giving a naturally golden glow and radiant complexion, all formulas are streak free and never sticky, providing incredible results every time. Nuda products are made from natural, handpicked ingredients designed to take care of your skin. Their formulas are all enriched with vitamins A, C, E and aloe extracts that are known for their health benefits and hydrate the skin. Before your Appointment

  • Shower, shave, and exfoliate your skin at least 3 hours before your appointment.
  • Hydrate the skin the days before the session, but not on the day of the appointment.
  • Do not use lotions, hair removal creams, oil-based exfoliation products, gels or shaving creams.
  • Do not wear any makeup, perfume, sunscreen, or deodorant. These can be removed right before your appointment. Nail polish is okay.
  • You may wear undergarments or a bathing suit during your session, but they are not required.
  • Be sure to bring dark coloured, loose-fitting clothing to change into after your session.

Aftercare Instructions

  • Avoid putting on a bra, socks or tight-fitting clothes immediately after the session to ensure the tan dries evenly.
  • Wait 8-12 hours before showering. This is the development period of NUDA products. To get the full intensity of your tan, wait a minimum of 12 hours before showering. We also offer 2 rapid developing formulas that can be rinsed off within 1-5 hours after the application, depending on the desired colour. Your tanning specialist will instruct you when to shower.
  • Avoid activities causing sweating or contact with liquids during the development period.  If it raining or snowing outside bring long and covering clothing and an umbrella.
  • Do not wear makeup, cream or perfume on your skin during the development period.
  • Moisturize daily, and begin to gently exfoliate 4 days after your session to ensure the tan fades evenly.
